What is th Border Patrol hiring proccess like?

I'm currently a DoD Police Officer 0083 series. I just cleared my secret cleareance background check a few weeks ago. I noticed BP uses the same form SF-86 for their background check. If I was to get hired by BP can they used my recent background check or will they have to do another one?
